All coaches in every program!
All coaches must have a completed and notorized background check form submitted to the ORYA office. Please click here and read the forms carefully. If you are unsure of the last time you submitted a notorized background check form, please contact the ORYA office.
Please disread the listed fee of $15; the background check process is free of charge to all ORYA coaches.
Notories can be found at your local town hall.
All personal information received will be kept confidential and secure.
How to access your roster information and emailing capabilities.
Follow these simple steps and you'll be able to contact your players at anytime!
- Click on: My Team
- On the left side bar click "ROSTER MNG."
- Login using your email: youremail@comcast.net and your password: (your first name).
- Your team will pop up
- Click email team
- It will show click boxes of who it is going to
- Click email, write the message and send.
If there is any roster changes or changed emails/contact info, the Sportsmanager program will have the latest up-to-date info. You can also access your team info pack by clicking "Team Info Report."

ATTENTION all Baseball coaches and assistant coaches of Minors Live Pitch, Majors, and Babe Ruth!
Beginning with the 2008 season, Babe Ruth League, Inc. and Cal Ripken rostered managers and coaches are required to complete coaching education and certification. Any coach who successfully passes the Babe Ruth League Coaching Education and Certification Program will receive a certification that is valid for their entire coaching career with Babe Ruth League, Inc. and Cal Ripken. This also applies to any coach who has already taken and successfully passed the Babe Ruth Coaching Education and Certification Program. The certification will require a payment of $20.

To gain your lifetime certification, please visit: http://www.baberuthcoaching.org. The certification will require a payment of $20. |

Once you have passed the certification and have received an electronic copy of your completed certification, please forward the certification confirmation email to the ORYA Assistant Director, Nick Scuderi at nick@oryarec.org AND to the ORYA Baseball Coach Coordinator, Nate Grove at grove6@comcast.net. |

In order to coach for this season, please have the certification completed and forwarded by: April 1st. |

If you would like to be reimbursed for the $20 coach certification fee, please complete the required form above. The completed reimbursement form must be delivered to the ORYA office within 45 days upon completion of the certification. |

Reimbursement will only be issued to those who pass the coach certification exam and who complete the reimbursement form within the guidelines provided. |

Checks will be issued and mailed to the address provided within 30 days of submittal. |
